Yes a MacBook would have been more useful for school work. At home, my daughter uses the MacBook more. The iPad is more for bringing to school, likely because it is less heavy than the MacBook.[/quote]
Then they should have standardised with the Macbook Air, which really isn't much bigger or heavier than the iPad.
I think its more a matter of cost.

Exactly, we ended up having to get the Macbook as well which make it much easier to work on for school work and projects. The larger screen size for Macbook is definitely a plus. For the iPad, I think note-taking could be easier if you write with the Apple pencil. However, my DD can't get used to writing with the pencil and rather type instead, so the Apple pencil is very much a white elephant now. I think she is mainly using the pencil to doodle for fun

Oh yes, the doodle part sounds familiar. My daughter also does that too.., and lots of Apple Pencil colouring too. I think is it therapeutic and relaxing for her.

Perhaps, one of the many reasons.

hello! since masks can cause some discomfort, we are allowed to wear culottes & polo shirt any day of the week (except for hall assembly days where students have to wear uniform). not sure if it will change in future, since it was pinafore & blouse every day except for Wednesdays before covid hit. hope that answers your question!

I'm actually also a y3 coming y4 student in rgs so parents do ask away! hope to help some future juniors out so i'll answer questions to the best of my ability šŸ™‚

Hi my DD will be joining Sec 1 next year . As we will be travelling , may miss the reporting date .

Hence wondering if we early prepare for the school year by buying school books , uniform etc .

I hear that culottes n tee are allowed to be worn everyday ?

Appreciate whatever tips you can offer .
