Congratulations! Well, you can take this as a run up to next year's PSLE πŸ™‚
P5 exams are usually quite tough to give the kids some taste of what's to come for PSLE.
As they say, it's time to wake up and smell the coffee... πŸ˜‚

Our school had our own killer Maths paper last Thursday. All the different P5 classes had the same comment from the students (various abilities): tough!

Nobody cried though. I think the kids (and parents) will learn to bounce back. And accept that yes, there will be those differentiator qns to sieve out the AL1 students, but no need to kill ourselves if cannot do, or cannot get AL1/2/3 whatever. Move on to next subject, move on with life.

My youngest brother always failed English and Maths during his primary school and every time, my parents asked him why.... then he would said \"Fail exam, so what??\" πŸ˜„

We did some papers previously but haven't go through the Maths book. I feel better let her go through the topics per text book else next year sure in a mess with more new topics. Using jiejie's conquer Math.

Sky, yr dd taking which tuition now? We got to start soon.

To add: CC resumes the abt one yr old ceremony for the students. Dd says want to go then yesterday say don't want to go. I think can call to cancel coz we registered to attend. Your side resumed?

@MrsKiasu. Yes, these days school does not seem to include much heuristics, so if we need to know have to learn on our own

Our CC didn't cancel, they postponed; we didn't register, so the CC sent the certificate hardcopy to school, & teacher quietly passed it to us

                      I pm-ed you πŸ™‚
