I just looked through the list. Woah, there are pri school kids on the list, but not under their school but tuition centre - i recognise the name on the list of interactive math exploration centre.coffeeortea:

Funnily, the name of one of the students in the special round is noT in the participant namelist for 1 june 2010:

I think they do allow walk-in candidates to take up the competition. -

they allowed walk in registration for Many years. In fact let's says s school do conduct the exams at their premises their students can do walk in registration too. Ah, that's interesting. Bc the name I recognise(that got into the special round) is from that Interactive Math Exploration centre, a Pri 6 boy from Catholic High School. The rest of the students from that centre took the test at NUS High, so maybe he did too. Doubt he would have gone to CHS sec to take it if he was under an Enrichment Ctr instead of representing CHS.

When will the participants find out how they performed? As in whether they received gold, silver, bronze etc? Do they find out from the school when it reopens?

The full result will be out after they have finished marking round 2.
If i am not wrong,
% gold: top 3%
% silver: next 7%
% going into R2: 5%
So even if your child didnt get into R2, at least there's still a good chance of getting silver. -
