It's by subject as there is an appeal fee by subject. The details are with the school. Check with the school teacher for the details. Closing date is quite fast.

          From SEAB website:

          Appeal for Review of Results

          1.
Can I make an appeal for a review of my national examination results?
Yes, you may appeal for a review of results through your school immediately after obtaining your national examination results. The appeal must be submitted to SEAB through the school by the closing date. There will be an appeal fee for each subject.

From last year result, AL6 (M) can enter any of the top schools, how about this year?
I think it’s more accurate to say, AL6 can qualify for any school. RGS has a COP of AL6, ie a number of AL6 would not be able to enter the school due to balloting etc

Yes. Score of 5M, we got the letter for ESIS.

Score of AL5 but no letter for ESIS. So is it school dependent? My DD’s a GEP school so there would be many with AL4.

Yup, you are right. I am thinking will the sequence of the choice affect the result. E.g. if AL6 not enter the first choice, then can safely say, he can enter the second choice with COP of AL7?

                      Since momof2child already replied \" 5M \",

means that her child's PSLE Higher Chinese scored \"Merit\" & AL 5.

                      M for \"Merit\"

There could be a raw score which determine the cut off for ESIS. And not so much of Higher MTl.
