I wonder when MOE will update their School Finder website with this yearās actual COPs? Usually April/May? In time for next DSA season?
I understand most KSPs reported/called up schools for IP COPs, but Iād like to compile the non-IP schools for the rest of us mere mortals. -
Well, there will be plenty of time for MOE to do that. Anyway, we are not in a hurry

Just wondering whether there were any big shocks, especially further down the tiers.
I know the news outlets reported MOE as saying āmostā schools did not veer more than 1 point off the indicative COP, but how āmost is mostā? What was the largest drop or rise? Would be interesting to know.
Some people on MOEās FB were furious to be posted to a school NOT in one of the list of 6 choices, and out of their neighborhood. I wonder what happened there⦠-
Yeah, I was hoping for an Annex B with the AMR (if different from schoolās level due to cap) and AL COP for all of the schools/streams.
April-May sounds about right but I donāt remember exactly because they didnāt do it last year. I guess when they publish the Secondary School booklet that will have all of the info too. -
Hi. Some frens' experiences this round were š° - (I don't know how they ranked their choices) they met their 1st choice cut-offs (which are = simulated), yet balloted to schools 5 AL points away...
-
Possibly: many people who scored same score as themā¦chose the exact same choices in same order?
I think youād have to list the choices in very tight descending order based on the indicative COP to be balloted out repeatedlyā¦eg:
Scored 7D, chose:
1. School with indicative COP 7D (balloted out)
2. School with indicative COP 7 (balloted out)
3. School with indicative COP 8M (unfortunately became 8D, balloted out)
4. School with indicative COP 8 (unfortunately -1 became 7, balloted out)
5. School with indicative COP 9 (unfortunately -2 became 7, balloted out)
6. āSafety netā non-IP school with indicative COP 12, got in this one -
At least in IP, the COPs didnāt move much though (to blow through 5 choices). The commotion was more that there did appear to have been a fair amount of ballot out first choice, fall until whatever choice is a lower ranking COP until the system catches you though (i.e. second or third choice also no chance or no luck).
In contrast, if I score AL11 and try Crescent Girls and Nau Hua High as first two choices but get ballot out of both (or miss the SAP COP via HCL grade) and then not willing to travel to Anglican (or try other AL11 SAP O level), my next choice could be several AL COPs away⦠-
Thereās a whole clump of COP 13, 14, 15 schools as well. I wonder any big movements thereā¦

TKGS, TSS, TKSS were all stable (assume forum reporting is accurate) vs. indicative COP. Not sure about othersā¦

I am wondering, could it be some of them misunderstood the ranking priority since this is the first year of the new AL system? E.g. some of the people I know (including DH) initially thought that Choice Order has priority over Merit, and this could have affected how they list their 6 choices.
