      Yes phase 1.

So KCPS needs to ballot in 2C n 2CS?

      What about the transfer?

      Thanks for your reply
KCPS has no Phase 2C(S) for the last 10 years (in fact, since we started tracking in 2006). It has always required balloting in Phase 2C, in the range of 130 odd percent.

As for transfers, it really depends on the school that you want to transfer to. Some schools will look at how well your child performs, so if your child does well, chances are greater. But then, you should ask yourself - if your child is doing well in the school, why would you want to change the school?

        Ok thanks for your advice
Hi. I am not as well versed in the registration process as some of the others here. But reading between the lines, isn't one other option to try and transfer the remaining (middle?) child out at the start of 2022 and then register the younger one via Phase 1 at the new school? Of course, if the remaining one is P6 transfers may be harder or undesirable (I think MOE transfer stops at P5 and one probably doesn't want any big disruptions in P6 year). Moreover, depending on the gender of the remaining child doing so may not be attractive.

A primary 6-er in 2022, will receive the phase 1 form in 2022, allowing the younger sibling to join in 2023, when the primary 6-er would have left the school by then.

But in any case, it is not important, you prob fit the condition either way.

Hi KSP, I bought a property and the agent was mentioning TOP in 2023/2024. We only got to know the vacant possession date in S&P is in mid-2025.

According to the MOE website: The vacant or delivery possession date of the new property you are moving into must be within 2 years of your child’s entry into P1.

If based on the date in S&P, we are ineligible to use the new property address for the P1 registration. Can we appeal on the address? When will be the best time to do so? Is the registration must be finalized by the end of June 2023?

            Please advise… Thank you!

We were in a similar situation this year. I wrote in to MOE and got a boilerplate answer basically repeating the information on the website. I didn't pursue it, but my impression was that it was extremely unlikely that MOE would allow us to use the new address just based on likely TOP (unless there are other reasons in play).

That's right. I'm sorry. I think appeals will fall on deaf years because there are just too many people having the same \"problem\".

So, now i should focus on the sch near my existing house. I have another question....
If i choose a sch that is within 1km and happen to ballot... but somehow if i can move to new house before the 30months.... what will happen?

Of coz I am planning to transfer my boy to the sch near my new house but also depends on availability.. or MOE will help to select a new sch nearer my new house for the transfer?

                  Thanks!

like the delay and cannot move in in time for the BTO ? so you going to try again and transfer your elder to the sch if you are able to use the new address. the trf is subject to availability right?

So you mean what happens if you need to move before the 30 mths is up? Here's the link to refer to:
                      https://www.moe.gov.sg/primary/transfers

MOE will select the new school for you. But I think there is more than what it says:
\"If you decide not to accept the school offered, or miss the reporting deadline, your child will remain in their current school.\"

Your child is not supposed to move within 30 months if he/she has received distance prioritization for his/her P1 registration. But if he/she has to move, then he/she cannot remain in the same Primary school.

No...we really wanted to register our kid for a particular primary school near our new place, so we're renting near the new place/primary school, and will move when the new place is ready. We didn't want to risk not getting into the primary school if we stayed at our old place, not after we bought a place near it!
