Any Recommendation of a Good Maid Agency
-
More possible problems - PT helpers drag thro time to earn their hourly pay unless agencies supervise work at client’s home; possible home crime as helpers revolve/changes & easy target for ‘inside’ jobs…
PT cleaners will not be good options for families who need home-based help for elderly care, very young children or special needs or bedridden care.
We’ll need to be present when PTimers are present unless responsible agencies personally supervise when entrusted with owners’ keys. -
Nvr hire a maid from Sakura Employment Agency. They are "pushy" for sale and gave you a helper that cannot do housework! Better get a fresh helper at any other agencies.

Beware of Spring Helper Consultancy in the East, at Roxy Plaza. This maid agent is extremely cunning & money minded, who is only keen to transfer helpers for extra profit at the expense of the employer who had suffered so much monetary loss in engaging their poor quality of helpers. This agent failed to practise what’s stated in the employment contract, the clause where a helper needs to give 30 days’ notice in lieu of payment if she decides to terminate the contract early. As I failed to remember this clause during my negotiation with the agent, (since I signed the contract way back in April), they took advantage of my carelessness by cunningly remaining silent about it until I naively authorised the transfer of the helper to a new employer. It was only after the transfer was done, I remembered about this clause, but the agent refuses to refund me the notice sum. If this is a responsible agent, they would have notified me about this clause during our negotiation, since the agreement was drafted by the agent themselves, (for the employment contract between helper & me). By right, the agent is representing both the employer & the helper, so they must be non-bias towards any party, yet this agent is very pro helper. Because with every successful transfer, there is more profits to reap. The whole negotiation session really opens my eyes to see how this agent bend themselves backwards in giving in to the helper just for the extra profit, without considering the plight of the employer’s loss of a large sum of money in hiring a helper from them who only worked 4 days with me! Avoid this scheming agent at all cost!! Just to add on, their POEA processing fee is way higher than average quoted by many other agencies. I made the mistake of not doing research for comparison before engaging this agent. So be careful there might be hidden costs in their fees schedule. On the surface, their service fee seems reasonable, but in reality, extra costs may be hidden in other charges. The painful lesson I learnt here is before transferring a helper, make sure u scrutinise every clause of the contract, else cunning agent like this one takes advantage of unsuspecting customers.

Found mine in NetsMaid agency site. And i will nvr recommend sakura employment agency cause it like like force sale transaction. I got mine from there and the helper couldn't work for me and asked to be sent back. Spoke to the boss but not helpful. Rather put blames on employers wherelse the problem lies in helper. No refund, no replacement option for me. So I cancel her permit and sent her back to home. And i was told that the agency refused to refund my FDW insurance policy fee. But the good news is i still get my policy fees directly from the insurance company.
Police report has been filed. Please find maid through other agencies. Dont rely on the EA Ratings on MOM. Not so accurate.
I got my helper from the Sakura employment agency as well and the helper have bad attitude issues after working for a few months. I hired helper from them to take care of my disabled elderly and the helper shouted at my disabled elderly for not listening to her, show black face whenever asked her to help my disabled elderly with her basic thing (toileting, etc), and alot of different issues. When I went to the agency to complain and got nothing useful at all!
when asked for replacement, no response, so I went to netmaid website to search for the available helper and found some transfer helper. they didn't even let me know when got available helper.
The agency doesn't provide house visit whenever counselling is needed, they charge employer with per hour rate and the per hour rate is not a small sum.
I am here to share my experience with whoever that is hiring from the agency I have mentioned. -
I had a horrible experience with Prestigious Employment Agency at AMK Blk 714 (Selene and Patrick). My helper started giving me problems and ran back to agency. Instead of trying to resolve the issues, Prestgious agency wilfully obstructed communications with helper, threatened to send debt collector to my house and also took me to small claims tribunal for an increasing amount of lodging fees (invoice was $600 in Aug 2021, then increased to $870 in Oct 2021 all without my knowledge or agreement). The State court dismissed Prestigious EA’s claims and I don’t have to pay a cent. Selene and Patrick are very unreasonable and uncooperative. It was $6.7k down the drain for me and my helper worked only 3months.
Anyone reading this post, PLEASE avoid this agency if possible. Good luck and take care! -
You can consider my agent tho. I’ve been with her for at least 8 years. I dont follow the agency but I followed my agent.

I have a responsible and hardworking part time helper / cleaner to recommend. PM me for her number.

Will nvr recommend sakura employment agency to anyone. Gave me a useless helper & no replacement maid given. Infact not even a refund. I’m glad to make the right decision to sent their useless maid back to home country. Why bother sending back to agency when the helper cant even work, right?
Basically it’s like a force sale transaction. Go through the contract without explaining every detail to you. Will get you to quickly sign the contract to close the deal.
Would suggest you to go find maid elsewhere but definitely not this one! Dont waste time & money. -
My experience with Swift @ Bedok, with the Agent was disappointing.
It was our first time hiring a maid, and we’ve decided to go with the interview Agent recommended this FDW, whom she pitched as someone who’s good in English and loves kids.
Before the interview, we asked the Agent why the FDW left the current employer. We were replied with "Employer had stopped working and decided not to hire a maid" we later learned that it wasn’t the case from the FDW herself. After the whole incident we felt this was inappropriate after recounting how the FDW told us herself that her last employer wanted to send her back initially.
The interview went alright, and after agreeing that we’ll hire the FDW, we received a couple of phone calls pushing for payment (4 times) and multiple text messages such as "Because I want her to be taken by my own customer as of now she is open and can be taken by my other colleagues".
This kinda irked us as we found her pushy, and we were pretty busy that day; the amount ($3500) was transferred that evening.
The FDW was with us for around 7 months, we found her performance acceptable the first 3 months but it all went downhill after (perhaps that’s why her previous employer did not want her).
After 7 months passed, we discussed with the FDW she decided to terminate her employment. We contacted the agent on the FDW’s decision and enquired about the necessary procedures for sending her back to the agency.
We gave the agent feedback regarding the FDW’s poor performance and we were replied with an "ok".
She guided us through the forms, and we were asked to make a payment of $420 for the FDW’s 21 days worth of accommodation and food. We transferred the FDW to the agency along with the forms, and payment was made on that day.
Additionally, we asked her to send us bio data of replacement maids.
On the 21th day after sending the FDW back to the agency, we texted the agent on the update for the FDW’s re-employment. We were told that she hadn’t found an employer yet. We then told her that we will be canceling her permit and received a reply, "But she still wants to work".
We were pretty annoyed by that reply since the agent hasn’t texted us nor called us at any point within these 21 days regarding our new replacement request or the ex-FDW’s transfer. FYI, it was radio silence for 21 days. We then told her that we were firm on canceling the work permit and asked her to arrange for a driver to send the FDW to the airport.
A total amount of $340 was paid to the agency for transport/PCR test/lodging. We specifically requested the agent to provide an update of a photo of the FDW once she reach the airport on that day.
It was hours past that flight departure, and we did not receive any update. We had to call and text the agent before she sent us the confirmation that the FDW has departed.
I’m okay to be charged fees or even a premium for a fair exchange of service. However, I definitely feel like this was a session of value extraction from the agent, the prompt response we receive were only for payment requests.
That’s why we decided to forfeit our agent fees and look for a better service. -
