Yes! Kimchi goes through some fermentation and that's where the probiotics come into play. A delicious source of probiotics.

Interesting. What's the use of probiotics? I hardly have any kimchi or yogurt, but I drink milk regularly. Does milk help?

Generally no especially pasteurized milk!

It needs a fermentation process for the good bacteria to grow. Yogurt is the fermentation of milk.
When we take a lot of antibiotics, we also kill our good bacteria in us. So probiotics helps to put back the good bacteria.
The good bacteria are useful to help in digestion -
I’ve been using Duolac probiotics for sometime but recently switched to Lactobacillus GG. I can’t take kimchi but don’t find yogurt effective to strengthen my gut.
-
1). Lacto GG.
2). Yogurt (1st thing in the morning on empty stomach, 1 cup)
3). Prunes juice (1st thing in the morning on empty stomach, half a cup).
4). Yakut Ace Light after heavy meal.
I realized I need to drink at least 3L of water per day to avoid hard stools. The Standard 8 glasses of water per day is not enough -

That is why I have not taken any antibiotics from western doctors for more than 20 years.
