Hi sleepy,Hi TAS
Do you mean your center sells phrases books? A collection of phrases from various story books?
Yes, we sell books and when you buy a book, you will get the phrases
that have been extracted from that particular book for free.
Some parents just buy the phrases from the different books as
some of them have already bought the books from elsewhere.
However, if you buy the books from us, the phrases are free.
Each book comes with a collection of phrases from that book.
You can go to our facebook account -The Alternative Story-
to take a look at some of the books and also the phrases.

Hi sleepy,
Would you recommend Friedrich? This book is in GEP reading list.
Yes it is a great book to read, it talks about 2 neighbours growing up
together, one poor and another rich. When Hitler begins to turn the
nation of Germany against the Jews, the poor German neighbour
gets richer by joining the Nazi party and the rich Jewish boy gets thrown
out of his house and their whole lives change.
However, it seems more suitable for primary 4 kids and above. But if your
child can understand it and enjoys it, then it should be no problem.

You could pm us your email and we can send you an example of some phrases that we have, not the complete extract but a few examples.

Hi Brenda10,Hi TAS
How do you find this book \"Firesong\" written by William Nicholson ?
Thanks
The book is alright, it is a fantasy book, a little like Lord of the Rings
in the sense that it is a book about different tribes of people who
are fighting for their homeland and they must sacrifice greatly to achieve
that. Among the characters are a prophetess and some creature who is a
man-woman. It is a story full of mythical creatures.
If your child likes fantasy stories, then she might like this. It seems
a little 'deep' for a primary school kid though. However, if your child
is able to understand the story, then it should not be a problem.
