My DD graduated last year and did well for her A Levels.

But like any other schools or JCs, there are very good and not so good teachers.

But overall, the JC has done very well overall.

            Congrats to yr DD!
Kudos to Ny Head, teachers for always sparing a listening ear to Ny students' feedback, reinventing its teaching strategies
to pre cohort well for A Level Exams.

Not really sure. If I can remember correctly, my DD said median UAP is 85.

So, I think they have done pretty well overall for the majority of their subjects.

                    Total,
how many JC1 classes of (BCME + PCME) are there in NYJC, including students from the \"Arts\" stream permitted to study these subject combination too ?

                    How about other JCs ?
Is NYJC flexible subject combination being repeated in other JCs, as well ?
                    Can

(RI / Hwa Chong / Eunoia / National / Temasek / Dunman High / River Valley High) permit their \"Arts\" stream students, to loosely or flexibily, take up JC1 (BCME or PCME) subject combination, that traditionally fall under \"Science\" stream, but students actually entered (got admitted in) under the Arts COP, not via the Science COP ? Or these JCs bar (stop) the students from \"jumping ship\" or \"crossing-over\" into these popular, traditional Science stream subject combination ?
I was told about a loophole to get into NY via Art stream to study Science stream -PCME or BCME. So is it true ? It could be a bonus or curse depending on how you look at this loophole. How long will this loophole remains ?

From an e-open house, another JC near expressway mentioned that they do not allow Art stream students to do Science stream - PCME, BCME.

To add on, Nanyang Junior College is one of the few colleges in Singapore not allocating an 'S' to Science classes and 'A' to Arts classes since the new curriculum was introduced in 2006, opting instead to avoid such labels to foster a greater sense of college spirit.

I heard that it is Maths

I believe NYJC is very strong in Chemistry as well.
