Do note that if you get into a school via MEP DSA, the student has to take Music as a subject upto sec 4 minimally. Which means at sec 3/4, Music will be one of the 8 or 9 subjects taken.

In addition, I believe the student is also expected to learn a 2nd instrument.

Yes we are aware. She loves music. Her piano teacher did MEP and explained it to her. Even though she trains 10+hrs a week on ballet, compared to 1.5hrs on piano. It's only because piano is much easier for her. Either way is fine tbh.

Her third choice is a tough one. We wanna go with Dance DSA. But not sure which school to go for. Any suggestion would be much appreciated.

If you are referring to modern dance, it is I think the 4th most popular DSA domain, based on the number of schools offering it, so no shortage of choices but whether they fit your bill.

Hi parents, can i ask acheivements that are reflected on school report book i dont need to addin. But how about those not shown? Like edusave award, NE ambassador etc? Shd i add in myself? TIA!

Edusave awards and all other MOE awards will be clearly recorded for the sec sch, they can see those. NE ambassador, you could add that yourself. Depends on which DSA domain you can applying for, you could pick the most representative skill sets to be included.

SCGS dance dsa is more competitive than NJC. A lot of girls who dance competitively will try dsa SOTA MGS SCGS PLMGS

Thanks for the list. I went for \"IP, no SAP\" in my search. 😅 My DD is usually around AL5. But not too keen on higher Chinese. So SAP is not an option for us.
