          based on above hyperlink,
out of Total seven Express Sec 3 classes in TKGS,

          - two are \"Economics\" classes
          (3E4 and 3E7).

          - only one class (3E2), offer Music Elective (MEP) programme.

          - the rest, are either
          (Double or Triple) Science classes.

3E1 also has econs students. Will they join class for lessons , similar to HMT? That means that it may not be necessarily 3 econs classes but 1?

I am not sure perhaps the senior parents here can advice. What I gather from other Fb forum is there isn’t any resource available from Popular. But they posted a guide book online . Hope it helps you a little terms of researching.

hello, i’m not completely sure how many sec 3 econs classes there are, but from what i have heard, 3e4 and 3e7 are FULL econs classes. they are taught as two classes, and i think the 3e1 econs students will join 3e4 during lesson time.

in the sec 4 level, 4e2 is 3/4 econs (the rest are mep) and 4e7 is ~100% econs. the only difference between the classes is whether we take physics or bio. there is one student from 4e1 (combined sci / applied math) who joins 4e2 during econs lessons.

tl;dr: two econs classes in sec 3, two econs classes in sec 4

                    once you take Econs :-

can only take \"Double\" Pure Science. School (TKGS) forbid Upper Sec students from taking (Econs + Triple Science) combination.

                    That means,
at such an early, young age at 14 year old, at the end of Sec 2,
TKGS school forces u to make a decision :-

to drop Bio or to drop Physics, at O-level.

If one cannot decide so early at 14 year old, how to know that you are dropping the Science subject, correctly ?

                    Consequences ?

What if, half way through your Sec 3 journey,
                    say eg.

                    After half a year or
                    3-quarter year or
one full year had passed (lapsed) by, after your Sec 3 mid year Term 2 (May) exam is over,

you realized that actually, u regretted chosen Physics, because u are now struggling with Physics, and wished that can turn backwards the clock, wished that you have chosen (picked / selected) Bio, instead of Physics ? That means, u have dropped the wrong Science subject.

                    In contrast,
if u have selected the correct Science subject (Physics vs. Bio), then no issue.

                    Triple Science definition here,
                    refer to :-

                    Pure ( Physics + Chem + Bio),
                    ie.
                    ( 6091 + 6092 + 6093 ) SEAB exam code

                      once u get (A1 or A2) for O-level Econs (2286),
doing A-level Econs is a breeze, with the foundation of Econs concepts well set in, clearly understood.

My friend's daughter purposely chosen to DSA into TKGS,

                      because

out of the entire Singapore, with more than 150 Secondary schools present,

TKGS is the only \"All Girls\" Sec school that offer this subject, \"Economics\".

A level Econs is different from O level Econs in terms of answering techniques.
Fresh JC Econs kids wont loose out to those who had taken in O.

On a side note, its not easy to score well for O level Econs.
Tkgs std is not what it used to be 10 yrs ago.
Its 2021 O level results not fantastic.
