Don't think you can think about it in terms of numbers. Among the shortlisted there are already those who have been invited by RI to apply, and from what I hear the number of math COs is between 10 and 20. So it is highly competitive, and our DC can only try their best. All the best!

Like my son said in the rugby CCA , there’s only 1 DSA boy in his team . Either RI didn’t offer much CO for rugby in 2020 (due to covid) , or it could also be those offered CO taking up other school’s offers ….

I've never been sure on the total RI academic since they don't have Infocomm/Robotics (possibly just take in a larger figure to math/science) and this is the first year they've had a MT (Malay, although this is probably somewhat limited in size too). If I had to guess, Math is a solid 20+ per year but I wouldn't bet the house on any specific number... -

Based on the last couple of years, it could be mid-July (or so) until RGS sends out the shortlisting notifications. Just received Wushu DSA selection for NYGS.

Your child is expected to perform the following components during the DSA selection exercise.
- Basic Techniques (基本功)
- Taolu (Forms) (套路)
Please kindly ask your child to bring along her weapons too if she specializes in any weapon event. -

So I think the RI math DSA is closer to 15 plus/minus (less than 20). Again , this is a guesstimate …. based on nuggets of info here n there . -
