Actually, I'm suffering from memory loss. I can talk halfway and then forget what I'm talking about in the same breath. Like today, I totally forgot to attend an important zoom meeting even though I reminded myself 50 minutes before the event. But I remember things that happened years ago like it was yesterday. I'm learning ways to work around this problem, but it is slow and I don't know if I can ever go back to the old days... sigh.
There are 2 ways for you to tackle your memory problems.

      1. Like my office boss, he will inform me and another colleague all his official meetings or events which he has to attend and we will remind him again and again on that day to make sure he is on the way to his meeting, sometimes I even have to call other parties attending the meeting to make sure he is there. Maybe you get help from your circle of relatives or friends to act as a reminder like me and my colleagues. Sometimes we need other people to help us. Don't be strong headed.

      2. Save the event in your handphone calendar and set an alarm 05 min before the event or meeting. I always do this as I have a few events during weekend, the alarm in my handphone will remind me the time when my event is starting. It is very useful as it can also state the time when I should set off from my home to the event.

Sighing and thinking of the old days are no use.. get a way to solve the problem.

Oh... healthwise I guess I'm \"ok\". Exercising for me has become an essential all consuming thingy because there is nothing better to do. I've got plenty of points on the Healthy 365 app :nunchuk:
Good to know you are doing ok. Can also accumulate points on lumihealth if you’re using iPhone and Apple Watch.

Set an alarm? Keep a notepad? You’re just being forgetful. Like anyone who might be.. many kids forget their homework too haha

I am sorry to hear your mum is having serious dementia. Could she still take care of her daily life, like eating, going toilet, etc, by herself?

I agree playing mahjong is so fun and I consider mahjong playing is the best boradgames I have played. The problem is playing with friends on a real table may involve some money and don't know whether one's can take this type of \"excitement\" or not.[/quote]
You can also keep points and then the winner or loser can buy dinner.

                    Tips for dealing with forgetfulness

People with some forgetfulness can use a variety of techniques that may help them stay healthy and deal with changes in their memory and mental skills.

                    Here are some tips:

                    Learn a new skill.
                    Follow a daily routine.
Plan tasks, make to-do lists, and use memory tools such as calendars and notes.
Put your wallet or purse, keys, phone, and glasses in the same place each day.
Stay involved in activities that can help both the mind and body.
Volunteer in your community, at a school, or at your place of worship.
Spend time with friends and family.

Get enough sleep, generally seven to eight hours each night.
                    Exercise and eat well.
Prevent or control high blood pressure.
Don’t drink a lot of alcohol.
Get help if you feel depressed for weeks at a time.

You didn't save your younger one tuition appointment in your calendar?

Maybe relatives can do so...for friends, they usually play with \"real\" money.
