Why? I think you should be happy reading those books, it means you get leisure time away from the kids haha

I agree with bbbay with regards to self help books. I don’t read much of those. Think I read only 7 habits of highly effective people and who moved my cheese (if you can even consider that self help). Read those because company sent me for those trainings.

I prefer to read fiction and biographies. Reading to me is leisure so I don’t want heavy topics.

I m just those lazy to read physical books. Even for my previous course, the physical books remain new after exam..nowadays different style, get online resources for research so can read up more.

Pregnancy books borrowed fm nlb and returned when due mostly still inside the bag. Just listened to gynae. Only baby naming books I read a few.

Guess I m stubborn type..always think own ssues only ownself can solve. Dh sometimes will send me some uplifting video/talk..and that helps but just at that moment..

Leisure reading to me is entertainment news and cooking/baking

Now my issue is how to reach out to people like customers? Now is I think mostly using social media to reach out, which is my weakest area

Any recommendation on marketing books/online resources/ what type of people to look for to help us in online marketing?

I used to read ‘guilty as charged and 2 of subhas anandan’s books…btw, I still have Enid blyton’s ‘the enchanted tree’ on my shelf. Love those little stories of make believe lands, elves and gnomes.
Being able to sleep when I am sleepy at night until it’s natural time to wake up the next morning is so shiok.

From a counselling point of view.

For the past 2.5 years -
this covid pandemic has caused a lot of mental stress on several families in Singapore locally, as well as abroad.

During June school holiday, wasn’t there got one week in Singapore, where Singapore conducted this "Mental Wellness being " week ?

There are so many families crying out for help now, across the board :-

                      - from Lower primary school students, seeking help in KKH

                      - from Upper primary school students, seeking help in KKH

                      - from Secondary school students (teenagers) + Junior College + Polytechnic students, seeking help in SGH / KKH / IMH / school counselling / family counselling Centre

                      - from young working adults, below aged 35.

                      - from older matured working adults, past 40 years old.

                      - from lonely elderly folks in their 60s, 70s, 80s.

                      Thus,

                      1) kindly refrain from making jokes lightly, be it in this ksp forum or any other kind of forum

                      Because

one may think that it is quite funny to joke around. One may think, "Come on ! It is only a joke. You mean, you cannot even take it that it is only a joke ? Aiyoh ! Don’t be so serious lah ! "

                      However,
because of the mental stress pre-occupied on their mind, some people do not see it as a joke at all, but interpret it as mockery instead, hence led to useless, meaningless arguments ! Thus, do be sensitive to the feelings of all people, using this forum. Is it so hard, to try to be sensitive ?

                      2) Emotionally,
                      if one feel distressed,
                      because of trauma

                      after child birth,
or due to insufficient hours of sleep / rest

                      or feel overwhelmed,
because too many things are happening around you at the same time that demand your attention, making u feel distracted, overwhelmed,

kindly seek help early ASAP, by seeing a gynae (for women who had recently given birth) or see a doctor. Also, please get more rest, sleep more often, so as to re-charge, re-cuperate and to restore your own body health. Our human body, just like our hand phone, need to be re-charged regularly for power, whenever energy gets depleted.

                      ==========================/

                      Remember.

Look at Russia & her neighbour. Every hour, across the globe, people are dying. Life is so vague, so un-certain ! Nobody know, whether tomorrow, one will still be alive or not. Will we still be able to wake up tomorrow, be alive ? We dont know. We just live one day at a time. So, living on "borrowed" whatever remaining time that’s left on earth, spend your time wisely.

If by coming to this ksp forum here, you feel that it will tempt, lead or cause u to be engaged in some useless, meaningless arguments with a counter-party, then, what is the logical step to do ?

Stay away (avoid) from this ksp forum, occupy yourself with some other more meaningful activities instead. Or go and get some more rest or more sleep.

Boy, I couldn’t keep up with the torrent of accusations, snide remarks, etc.

Please, I think I may have started all these with a misguided joke, so blame me, and not each other, ok?
