Anyway, these recipients hv passion and are bonded to serve in the SAF after graduated as Medic etc
Not all wish to embark career in this field.

As always, shes jealous Nyjc high value added academic performance.

That could be the disadvantage of being a non-IP students as NYJC is way too far behind HCI/RI when come to securing top government scholarships, and not even on par with eg. ACSI, EJC, VJC.

Can i check for the JC2 during the start of June holiday, were they asked to go back for Supplementary class etc?

For a sensing, is it common for child to fail or borderline certain subjects, like math for JC1?

For the science subjects (BCM), one small test per week. These are counted towards EOY weighted results. I know Lit doesn't hv.

Earlier someone mentioned that NYJC pushes for 3H2 while the students at top JCs are doing 4H2 and even H3 papers. Then in this case, could it be that not many NYJC students do H3 to compete for the scholarships?

Another reason I could think of is the interviewing skills, or lack of, the students displayed in front of the selection panel. Between a confident candidate who could articulate well and engage with the panel and another who hesitated and only responded passively to questions from the panel, the choice is obvious.

Even RVHS also can produce 6 top tier scholars, and considering that the COP of RVHS is lower than NYJC’s, NYJC should review its strategy going forward.

How is NYJC PW distinction rate? In terms of communication skills, I think perhaps PW scores may be a good barometer.
