Anyone knows if RGS English will have interview after the selection test? TIA

Seems like this year only music, arts and sports have interview. Stated on their website

No interviews? Because the applicants’ P5/6 AL scores already meet the school’s S1 intake COP? Or school is not considering whether applicants will fit the demands that DSA may bring to them?

I think the shortlisted candidates for RGS selection tests are very stringent.
Most if not all candidates that went for selections tests for all academics domains should have all ten rows filled up suggesting these girls can easily cope with heavy schedules and perform well. :nailbite:

The demands on DSA students can be expected are top performance in their talent domains+ to bridge the expected academic gap (school with high academic expectation and DSA student likely to have results that do not meet the S1 COP) .

I don’t think having many talents will translate to academic strength too.

I’ve no idea …. It just ended there and then right after the analysis . But I guess for academic DSA , the schools would have already taken into account the overall AL of the applicants.

I don’t think having many talents will translate to academic strength too.

I remember in one previous post that someone mentioned a girl with better portfolio in VA was not shortlisted as her AL score was more than 10. Based on that, I believe those shortlisted , should have results around AL6 and below.

Btw, what is the commitment for DSA academic domains? Math means to join math Olympiad, language to join writing / debates competition?
