Today’s Update (9 September)
Good morning everyone! Resetting for the day. Today is the last working day before the actual deadline (12 September) for DSA results set by MOE. Given that we are so close to that deadline, schools might just wait to announce their results on 12 September. Nonetheless, anything can happen so for those who are still waiting, best of luck!

Hi fellow parents. My DD received COs for MGS & St Nicholas in Netball. Both for ‘O’ levels. We are in a dilemma on which to choose. Can I get some valuable suggestions? Many thanks in advance.
My DD is not academically strong. Her prelims is around AL14. We live in Ang Mo Kio. I send my DS to school at Clementi in the morning.
I think you would have heard by now that the culture of the 2 schools are indeed very different . Find the best fit for your daughter . Otherwise she will feel like a fish out of water coz both schools are fed by tons of students from the affiliated pri school who might be rather clique-ish .
If after weighing both and you find that the odds are really balanced between both schools , then school distance is a deciding factor .
Secondary school students end late at 7pm and JC might be even worse . You will have to factor in the 6 years of commuting .
Bukit Timah jam is horrendous during peak hours if you’re travelling by car . By train , both schools are served by mrt . -

You know of people who have received phone calls for CO? Or you have received phone calls?
I just called DHS. I was told there will not be phone calls. Letters (outcomes) will be received next week 12-15 Sep. That is to say, it may be past the 12 Sep timeline for notification of DSA outcomes. -

What an emotional coaster ride we went through in the past week with 3 different outcomes for netball. We are nevertheless thankful and grateful for this experience. Thanks to the mums and dads here who provided lots of helpful insights to A-Zs of DSA experience. Behind every successful child is the great support of the parents.
