Will NUSH be more lenient to applicants whose languages are less outstanding compared to their strengths in Maths/Sc?

But if you are aiming for RI/HCI, then your DS must buck up for his languages. I recalled I was looking at only RGS/NYGH for my DD2 so I make sure her overall results cross 85%. At 85%, she was like average in her class but this is for girls only (and some years back already). Am not sure if girls generally outdo boys at psle level.

DD2 had a classmate whose results were not strong, around high 70s. She was shortlisted for DSA interviews but was eventually unsuccessful.
85% for Math & Science, which is lower than the average score. The average score for Math is usually 90s, Science 86-88. Language-wise, it is just average too. The majority of students score AL4-6.

If the boy get confimred offered as follow:

        1. SJI- 'O’level
        2. ACSB- Express/nA

        During submission preference,

        1. SJI
        2. ACSB.

        PSLE result.

if AL 22 and below, where he will be posted to?

If AL 23 and above , where he will be posted to?

If PSLE score is 22 and below, SJI.

If PSLE score is 23+, I think neither but I’ll let the more experienced folks weigh in.

Actually, shouldn’t the assessment be more holistic at the final interview, rather than offer CO/WL based on p5/6 results? If results is indeed a key determinant, then isn’t it a waste of their time to conduct DSA auditions/interviews by filtering by results only at the final interview? They should have sieved out by results at the onset before talent trial.[/quote]

Fully agree with wat u said above

AL23 with CO will enter NA stream in ACS Br. They have piloted FSBB already, so he will be allowed to take EMS/MT at Express level, provided he scored AL5 or better for the particular subject. All the other subjects will be at NA level.

Got it. So, at an AL score of 23, the student will miss out on the SJI CO but will still be able to enter ACSB via NA. I forgot that the ACSB CO was listed as Express/NA. If so, then the student should still get into ACSB though for the NA course, not Express.

Yup. Forummer WING_28 has planned it very well. Kudos and congrats!

                    Yes, correct.

                    The question then become,
\"Do u still want to accept the NA course, in ACS Barker Sec ? \"

This is definitely true for class composition once Sec 1 starts. However, for posting purposes I believe there will still be a set number of spaces for (essentially) each of E, NA, NT (or the corresponding Total AL Scores)?

I.e. if a school currently has an Express COP of AL10 and NA/NT courses as well, it is not like the intake will only be those with AL10 (or AL11-AL12), there will still be a mix of students from all three \"courses\" (or scoring levels).
