      I agree with you Zac's mum. I think by P6, there are a lot of boys capable of discussing and forming their own views on these commonly tested topics. In fact, good teachers at P6 will do lots of discussion of this sort throughout the year, in a way to prepare for Oral and Compo. The issue is for kids to learn to weave these into their writing.
