Is it recommended to write compo based on third party voice? I was informed previously not for child to write from perspective of adult or third party voice? Any tutor can chime in?
Heard someone wrote a story based on In Order to Live: A North Korean Girl's Journey to Freedom
Separated while trying to flee North Korea and reunited after a long wait. -

How do your kids feel after the English papers today?
My son said most of his friends and he felt good after the paper. I feel this is good to set the mood and pace for the rest of the papers to come. 😊 -
The general feel I got was the paper was ok and slightly easier than prelim.
Difficulty editing word was exhilarating
Difficult synthesis question was changing , meeting concluded in the evening to

especially after past 2 long years of pandemic, covid economic shutdown,
where many Malaysians working / studying in Singapore, are separated from their loved ones back home in Malaysia, and vice versa. -

This story would resonated with so many people, especially those affected by lockdowns and travel restrictions. Hope she does well for her compo!

actually, this is a very moving & powerful story line or plot to write about, involving lots of strong , roller coaster emotions in the candidate's description, provided candidate can put herself in the shoes, as the main story character or as the North Korea victim, trying to escape out of the secretive, authoritarian dictatorship communist country. But, if you narrate it as a 3rd party, not play as the main character inside the story plot, not sure how SEAB (Moe) English language Compositon markers, will mark.
