This time round I am also going but peak season in Dec. Everything also ex….no choice la. Going back same cities but exploring different outskirts this time, hopefully hv diff experience from the last visits.

Appreciate to share after your trip, pls.
One of my concerns is the amt of cash to bring.

For mine, we will spend some days in Hokkaido (just Hakodate and Sapporo) and the rest in Honshu. Hence I planned to take a domestic flight from New Chitose Airport to Kansai Airport to avoid the long travelling hours on shinkansen.

Nope, exploring outskirts of Osaka and Tokyo only at leisure pace. I need to be back on certain days in Osaka and Tokyo for my girls to attend concerts, movies and Fanmeet.

Just be will miss the Lavendar bloom in Hokkaido. Blooms are in Sept. We did previously in June & hv nothing to see.

Lavendar bloom is during Jul/Aug at Farm Tomita?
I emailed and was told nothing much to see except some flowers in its greenhouse in late Mar.

Also a bit challenging to go Furano via public transport and we may give this place a miss.
