My DD is Sec 2. So I can only provide info for this batch.
hi experts ,
may i ask the following:
1.) how many classes in Sec 1 for 2023
2.) roughly how many students each class
3.) do school mix the students with better AL score together say 5&6 pointers in a particular class or are the students thoroughly mixed?
3.) how much is a typical meal say 2 veget and 1 meat dish cost with rice? <$3. ? and are the foods mainly carb based? Any vegetarian stall?
4.) how active are whatapp group for parents in each individual class or is it 1 for entire cohort?
5.) boys vs girls ratio for each class
6.) what Personal Learning Device ? ipad or chromebook?

1) 9 classes in total
2) 35-36 students per class
3) mostly per meal is less than $3
4) No batch chat; only class chat for parents allowed. My batch started a batch chat in the beginning. But it was closed after a few weeks as the school said they will arrange for class chat (with a PSG volunteer inside each class) instead
5) no fixed ratio but definitely more girls than boys in the school

1.) does the canteen accept the cashless payment/ ez-link or strictly cash?
2.) full uniform must be worn everyday or on a particular day only ? or just the polo shirt
3.) cca days are mostly on what day of the week and until what time usually? any spillover on saturday?
4.) chromebook meaning likely Accer right? is it quite true quite a few breakdown / screen turn black a common fault etc?

Example
If your kid join Girl Guide Cca or St John Ambulance brigade Cca, sometimes,
the training itself is held on Saturday weekend
at the HQ (Headquarters),
Not inside school premises compound,
from
9am to 5 pm (Saturday)
And on Saturday,
when your kid go to the HQ for training,
it may not
just be students from Chung Cheng High alone,
but
can include students from some other Secondary schools, too. That's where students interact socially, from different schools, for the same Cca.
Eg.
students from other SAP schools like (Holy Innocent, Dunman High, Catholic High, Maris Stella), etc. -

cashless payment is common.
For those food stall(s) inside the canteen that support cashless payment,
students can pay by this mode. Otherwise, if the food stall doesn't support, then pay by cash $, as usual. -

CCHM has a very robust CCA schedule (sports 3x, UGs 2x per week)! Some others (non-IP/dual) I've seen sports are 2x, some others 2x, UGs/many others 1x per week.

On Wednesday (21 December),
around 9.30 am in the morning,
when I contacted school CCHM, their official reply was ... 11.
Not 11 (P nor M or D),
but
just a simple 11.
However,
I feel that you (itsmehi)
should contact CCHM yourself directly,
to re-confirm what I mentioned about 11, is right or wrong.
