            Hi gurus

            I remember posting but cannot locate my post anymore.
            I just cannot recall where I post them.

            So I am re-posting. Hope you all don’t mind.

            Q14) If Ahmad and Ben work together, they can complete a job in 12 days. If Ahmad and Ben worked together for 3 days, followed by Ben who worked alone for the next 5 days, they can finish 5/12 of the job. How many days will each of them need to complete the job if they were to work alone?

            Given answers:
            Ahmad = 20days
            Ben = 30days

            Q15) Tommy and Wilson jog on a hexagon track (6 equal sides) at 8am. Tommy starts at point C while Wilson starts at point F. Both jog in the direction as shown by the arrows. Tommy’s speed is 1.5 times Wilson’s.
            (a) At which point will they meet?
            (b) If they meet at 8.20am ,find Tommy’s speed?

                  Hello everyone πŸ˜„

                  I have a question to ask.

                  Do we need to write word statement when doing maths paper 2? If we didn't,will we lose marks because of this?

                  PS. I don't know where to post this,so i make a new topic.

                  Thanks you! πŸ˜„

                      no we will not but it is good to state you units. IF you cant do something like this:

                      10+12=22 ($)

                      yep something like this but for just adding up normal numbers and not volume,money etc you need not put the signs. But after you have come up with the answer underline it ------ something like this. If it has a and b
                      ----
                      questions. Use this

                      (A) How much do both of them have together if Tom has $18. (Take Sim has $ 12)

                      18+12=30 (a,$)

                      remember the a comes first followed by the unit. This rule also follows for b. So it saves time. A long time ago they deducted marks for no writing final statement. But now the rule is gone YAY!

                        I don't really understand the last part you wrote. :oops: Can you write more clearly? Thanks.
                        Two more.

                        Can i write
                        1.20+1.80=$3
                        instead of
                        $1.20+$1.80=$3?

                        Will i be deducted marks for writing the first one?
                        -------------------------
                        1.20+1.80=3
                        Ans : $3
                        As long as i write the unit on the answer line,i will not be deducted marks right?

                        Thanks πŸ˜„
