If I remembered correctly I read somewhere on facebook that their L1B5 average is 10.1. It was mentioned in a reply by a parent.

From 2018/2019 the mean has always been in the range of 10 pt

Actually it's not the teachers' responsibility to chase ..... secondary school liao. Submission of HW is low not just happened to NC only. Even IP schools r facing that too.

Fyi (in case u do not know)

Nowadays,
on the actual O level results released date in January 202x, Secondary schools don't announce in detail to their students anymore ... what's the percentage of (5, 6) distinctions, in the O level cohort batch.

At the very most, the Principal will just announce stuff, like :-

1) what's the percentage of students who have RAW score single digit in L1R5, that means
\" less than or equal to 9 points\",

or

2) what's the average mean score for L1R5, in their entire O level cohort batch.

That's all.
School won't announce those detailed info, that u are looking for. If you really want, then approach either Principal or VP (Academic). And got condition, too !
That's provided your child (son / daughter) is a current student, inside this school. Otherwise, if u are just an outsider parent, nothing to do with Nan Chiau school, obviously, school won't disclose. Instead, they will counter ask u, \" why u want to know? \"

Assuming that u approach P or VP for this type of detailed info over the phone,

the few qns school will ask u (parent) are, because they definitely will :-

1) is your child, currently enrolled in Nan Chiau ?

Which class is your child, from ?
What's the name of your son / daughter ?

2) why do u need to know this info ? For what purpose ?

In Nanyang Junior College (NYJC), apart from affliated students from Chung Cheng High, Nan Chiau High is the other Secondary school where many JAE students flocked to NYJC, after their O level, even though Nan Chiau is Not affliated to NYJC at all.

Not only IP schools sometimes don't mark their students' homework, even other O level Secondary schools like

St Anthony Cannoisian Convent Secondary school : the same thing happened, also don't mark homework.

yep, quite a large number of students do go to NYJC. The school actually holds some events there such as the sports
meet, which is why many students know about it. Plus, the average of nan chiau's RAW L1R5 is in the 10-11 range, and considering that most get 4 bonus points (2 from hcl and another 2 from leaps 2.0), their NET L1R5 is around 6-7. NYJC cop is around 5-6, hence, many students see it as the best option (nyjc also quite close to their homes too)
