Thk You for sharing, mummy of 2!!! Thank you for posting the links too.
The stories are so hilarious that I enjoy watching them too
. The song is also very catchy. DS1 has been humming the tune now and then. All in all, highly recommended for pre-school kids like mine.

Dear Tamarind,tamarind:
Hi kids_r_innocent,
The Japanese manga translated to Chinese books are actually more suitable for kids 8 or 9 years to teenagers. The words are actually quite difficult, though there are lots of pictures.
For preschool kids, I highly recommend
哆啦A梦
http://product.dangdang.com/product.aspx?product_id=9165243&ref=search-1-A
There are tons of them. Preschool kids will not be able to read them independently, parents need to read the words to them.
Popular sells a set of 6 哆啦A梦 in bigger size and full color. My P1 girl has finished reading all 6 of them and she likes them very much. My younger boy also ask my mother to read to him every night. There are probably about 50 more books in small sizes, black and white, and the words are quite small.
My gal does not like 哆啦A梦. So i am tempted to buy and read those comics translated from Jap manga for myself first. Any good recommendations....
Thanks!!
kids_r_innocent,
Those manga that I was crazy about are no longer in print now, which is a pity because those are really very good. However, as I said, these books will not be suitable for kids below 9 years of age. My absolute love was 小甜甜 (作者: 水木杏子 / 五十嵐優美子).
For preschool kids, I recommend these excellent picture books :
小熊宝宝绘本 (4000+ reviews)

噼里啪啦系列 (1800+ reviews)

小猫当当系列 (267 reviews)

可爱的鼠小弟 (921 reviews)

鸡蛋哥哥(全四册)

I think that the 5 series above (total 48 books) are the \"must-have\" Chinese picture books for all kids between 0 - 6 years old.
For P1 to P6 girls, the first 2 series in this page are excellent :

I will be going to China to work for 5 weeks later this year. I plan to buy when I am in China, it costs only RMB 33 for 4 DVDs.
小甜甜 comics is out of print, if I can find new copies I will buy a set. I have the complete series but these are so precious to me, I don't even let my girl touch the books ! -

Busymom,
dangdang states that it takes about 4 to 8 weeks. For my recent orders, I received after 4 or 5 weeks. -

Thanks, tamarind, for your reply. Hopefully, will get the books soon.

In fact, I placed another order (for different books) at about the same time as the first order. For that order, till today, the status is still 等待审核 after more than a month... really getting a bit anxious as dangdang has already acknowledged receipt of payment, but I never received any email to verify my credit card numbers. :?
