Yes, zac's mum, there will be more along the way when they learn other forms of passages (informative 说明文, discursive 议论文)。

This type of question (i.e. identify sentence(s) using rhetoric approach and/or it's) can come out in O Level compre - although it is not a \"permanent fixture\".

More importantly, this serves as a reminder that unlike Pri level cloze passage, the tested scope for Sec level is beyond syllabus words/phrases that are covered in textbooks. Accumulative learning to expand range of vocab is key to handling this section.

Hi All, I would like to understand whether with the new changes to the Secondary School Chinese syllabus from Year 2021 (I know the textbooks were changed), will the ‘O’ level Chinese paper format be changed too?

I tried to google but can’t find anything. Looking forward to anyone who knows more. Thank you!

Yes, there is change in format w.e.f. next year.

For CL Paper 2, instead of 10 questions 10 marks for 1st section 综合填空,
it'll be 5 questions 10 marks for 1st section 综合填空 + new section 词语替换.

Weightage of OE compre section is reduced from 40 to 35 marks.

Nope. In fact, Mother Tongue B is offered in JC too. [quote]Mother Tongue (CL, ML or TL) ‘B” Syllabus is only offered to students who took Mother Tongue ‘B’ Syllabus at O-Level or have obtained D7, E8 or F9 for their respective MTL at O-Level examinations.

(both are available in-house for this kid’s school.)

If that particular popular branch which u go to near your house don’t sell CLB past year papers,
can ask the staff
to check their computer catalogue database, find out which Popular branch have (keep) stock of CLB past year papers.
