According to the SST website : \"SST Phase 1 Written Test for ALL candidates (To be conducted face-to-face in SST)\" and \"SST Phase 2 STEAM Challenge for SHORTLISTED candidates (To be conducted face-to-face in SST)\"

So everyone gets to sit for the written test in Phase 1 and only after that will students be shortlisted for Phase 2.

Yup, in the previous year they had the test in Phase 1 also.

For Phase 2 the students were grouped into teams of 4-5 kids and they were given a real-world problem and together they had to brainstorm some suggestions as to how they can tackle the problem. My kid's group was given the problem of wet toilet floors and how to mitigate that. They had to list their solutions down and present it.
After that they had an individual interview where the student had to present (in front of 3 teachers) a 1 min talk about their interest in a STEM topic.

Not sure how it's gonna go for this year, but that was what they went through for last year.

Traditionally, the results of the Phase 1 test will be release in the second week of July. Give them about 1 week. 12 /13 July are possible Dates.
