      I would not say she is lucky. Her American boyfriend dated her for 7 years before asking to marry her. I think some men are really inconsiderate, to a woman, giving birth at age 38 is a lot more risky than at 30.

        Oh thats terrible! I know of a girl ( not personally ).............same story. bf dated her for 10 years before proposing. After marriage, said he was not ready to have kids. It's been 10 years now and the gal is 40. He is finally ready but she can't conceive now. OMG! I would have left the guy a long long time ago.

                    Am a mid-40 FTWM with 3 kids - DS1 is 8yo, DS2 & DD are 4yo. Finding that I lack the energy to run after the 2 younger ones. Wanted kids earlier but not successful. 😛
