Congrats to the CO receivers. Seems like RGS is early this year. Wonder if it would be the same for the other girl schools 🤞🤞🤞 The wait feels endless.

Congrats! Did your DD applied for both Sci & English and only 1 is offered? Wish to find out how RGS dsa works. Thanks
Yes she applied for both Sci and English, went for both interviews and got only 1 CO.

Hi, I'm new here. May I know how DSA works? If the child manage to get into the school via DSA..Does that means the child still has to score within the sch AL score? Or sch can accept result slightly lower than requirements? i presume IP sch definitely has to within the AL score ,then whats the point of DSA?
The Correct answer is: once a CO is scored, the offer won’t lapse unless the child does not qualify for G3 Banding aka Express.

The Q at hand is if it is 20 or 22. Apparently diff schools have different trasholds.

My girl applied through Math to RGS, there was a math assessment and some group work with presentation. And that's it, 1 round only.

She applied to NUSH as well, and need to go for academic test and followed by science camp only. Selected students after science camp may go for interview. Thereafter wait for results.

She got confirmed offers for both. NUSH results out early Aug, RGS results out yesterday.

                  Hi peanut2929,

                  can share,
for Science DSA (RGS), were there 2 tests involved :-

                  a) Theory test first, plus

                  b) hands-on Performance test included, before your interview conducted ?

Your daughter in the end, was offered English or Science DSA ?

:congrats: , for your daughter's CO

                      Hi,
According to my DD, there was no interview conducted for her for Science test. Just theory + hands on.

And yes, she was offered English DSA but not Sci.

                      Hope it helps.

If you have received two COs from Victoria and ACSI, consider whether IB or A-level curriculum, suits your son better
For boys that DSA into ACS(I) track and field, do the boys need to do uniform group as well? Since Uniform group is a compulsory CCA in ACS(I).
