Is anyone know if primary school submits preliminary results to DSA school?

Hi,

For sports domain, so far none mention about looking at prelim grades. Only asked the kids to study hard for PSLE & meet the AL of posting group

I personally don't reckon DSA schools will wait to look at prelim results before issuing selection outcomes. They should have taken into consideration child's talents as well as past years' results before inviting for trial/test/audition? Some schools already released CO/WL in early August, way before Prelim.

For schools that choose to do so in September - whether they have access to prelim results or peek at it before determining selection outcomes - nobody knows..

I understand the wait for outcomes can be agonizing. We have felt it too at some point.. and by we(I mean me.. my DC is oblivious.. didn't ask until I mentioned it) 😅 I told my DC no matter the selection outcome, still have to sit for exams. A month to psle 🤓 Press on!

I personally don't believe that secondary schools have the authority to access applicants' P6 results (including prelim).

Otherwise, NUSH wouldn't need to specifically request applicants to submit their P6 SA1 scores before camp.

If they really want to consider Prelim results, they should require applicants to submit first. Currently, I haven't seen any secondary school has such a requirement.

My understanding is that MOE will compile and send the applicant's academic records at the moment of the application deadline as a one-time package to the secondary school they have applied to, rather than granting the school access to the live data within the MOE system.
