Dear Parents / Guardians



Phase 1 registration is for a Singapore Citizen (SC) or Permanent Resident (PR) child born between 2 January 2017 and 1 January 2018 (both dates inclusive) and has a sibling currently studying in our school.

For the 2023 P1 Registration Exercise (2023 P1 Ex), parents who are registering their younger child under Phase 1

are to register during the Phase 1 registration period

from 4 July 2023 (Tuesday),
9am to 5 July 2023 (Wednesday), 4.30pm

through the P1 Registration Portal.



You may refer to MOE P1 website for information on the 2023 P1 Ex.

For old girls under Phase 2A,

from ex St Nick (Primary + Secondary) "Full" schools,

once your 6 year old K2 daughter is a SC living beyond 2 km,

there is no guarantee that she can come back to St Nick safely, if balloted out unluckily.
So,
need to prepare a backup school for Phase 2B or 2C, just in case.

According to a friend who daughter just transferred into p3 2024, he was told at point of transfer, that there was no streaming.

My wife was in CHIJ Secondary, not Primary, but we got our girl in at Phase 2A. I'm not sure if the policy has changed. Best to just call up the school and ask the administrators there.

Is the elder sister in your example, a current student in sec?
If the elder sister in your example, is a current student in sec, the younger sister will be eligible to join pri in phase 1. The parent will receive a PG message on this in April.
