Just wondering how do you manage to stay patient at long waiting time in polyclinics and hospitals. Tried booking appointment online but no slot so just walk-in. Staff said either come back next time coz need to book appointment first or can wait til all scheduled are done or someone dont show up to their appointment. I waited more than 3hrs to see doctor
I have to have regular checkups at my local poly because of my stroke. Waiting times are long, even if you have an appointment, about 1/2hr to 1hr. So I switched to their \"online\" service where they consult with you via computers and it's much better then. But of course, I still need to go there for the physical tests where they take my blood sample, etc. The results can then be described to me by the doctor online.

Yes, but it's about the same as going in person. See below:

Patience truly becomes a virtue in these situations! It can be quite challenging to navigate through the long waiting times at polyclinics and hospitals. Booking online seems like a good idea, but the lack of available slots can be frustrating. The walk-in option doesn’t always guarantee a quick consultation either. I’ve found that bringing a book, some music, or even a puzzle helps pass the time. It’s tough, but sometimes the wait is the price we pay for much-needed healthcare. Hang in there, and here’s hoping for smoother and quicker visits in the future!

I usually call the customer service when there’s no more slots online and they will help to get a slot at the polyclinic (subj to availability)

                  Here's my preview of polyclinics.

Getting an appointment is easy... just go and book at one of the health apps (I can't remember which one). But even with that appointment, be prepared to wait for 1-2hrs. Once, I had to wait 4 hours :faint:

I have a regular appointment every six months to top up my medication. I would go for the lab tests which can be blood or urine tests and a week later, go online to see the doctor and listen to him/her spout the diagnosis. The physical testing is done at the lab and that is usually completed within 1/2-1 hour. The virtual meetings are quite prompt, and the doctors seem prepared to go through the results with me. So far, so good :xedfingers: . As for the medication, it is delivered to me at the time of my choosing.

If u want to go Polyclinic, say tomorrow,

                    then,

                    just the night before,
                    at 10 pm onwards,
u can go online to book a time slot.

For Poly, after you registered for Q number, you can then track the Q number from the HealthHub app. It is the A&E that is very long. We tried once and all in all with tests plus waiting time think more than 4hrs.
