      Hello all,
      Are there Cedarian parents whose children got AL8 and got into IP in the last 3 years being Singapore PR? Is it a safe bet to try with the first choice and second choice as TJC? Please advise.

      Can try cedar as first choice follow by tjc as second, the third you have to play safe already..

        Yep, thinking to go with Cedar O level as 3rd choice. I am just wondering does putting TJC as 1st instead of Cedar IP to ensure IP? looking for parents who had this kind of situation.

            Safe bet or not,
            It all depends on what is the cut off point Temasek JC (IP) is, for this year (2023).

            Scenario 1
            =========

            In one year, the Cut off point for TJC was AL 8 points, not AL 9. So, if for example, suppose this year, say, COP for TJC is 8 points, also the same as Cedar Girls (IP), doesn't matter whether u put IP (Temasek JC or Cedar Girls) as your first choice, because

            in the event demand exceeded the remaining supply of vacancies left behind at the Cut off point or at the exact Cut off boundary, then,

            balloting will arise for those who have scored AL 8 points, going by citizenship.

            Scenario 2
            =========

            However, if suppose this year (2023), say, the COP for Temasek JC is AL 9 points. Then, your daughter armed with 8 points, will be admitted in.

                Hi all, asking as a parent who’s interested to try to get my child to Cedar in 2 years’ time. For those who DSA-ed through the track & field programme, do you have to have had achievements in track competitions (whether externally through clubs or inter-school levels)?

                  Hello, does anyone have DD who are part of the track and field CCA? I would like to understand what is the intake each year, and whether you really need to be a star athlete in order to qualify. DD has participated in NSG track and field for Primary, but did not win medals or such. Thank you!

                    I have heard that one class had a change of a core subject teacher 2 to 3 times in recent year. But it is not IP class.

                      Anyone staying in Bidadari ?

                      If Yes,
                      just enrol your daughter into this school. So convenient, right at your door step. 10 minutes before sing "Mari Kita", can walk into the school gate. Don’t even need to take any public bus.

                        If a subject Teacher goes on maternity leave or apply for no paid study leave or go on Sabatical leave , another Teacher will come in to teach
