hey everyone! 😄 the posts have been extremely informative, but i'm curious: how much would the hypoallergenic nickel-free earrings from b*dazzle cost? (just the simple ones.) thanks for replying! 😄

For piercing, you can only choose from the gold range starting from $128:
      1) $128 for 14K gold (sometimes with simulated stone)
      2) $168 for 18K gold with coloured stones
      3) $228 or more for 18K gold with diamond

I hope I've remembered correctly. Hope this helps.

We recently paid $97 for a pair of simple studs ($78 ) plus 2 bottles of alcohol. I think the cheapest is $48. dd is going back to have her ears checked (no prob with them, just a scheduled check) and will confirm the price range.

wow, that's er, more than what i expected. >_> i'm probably just unused to the whole piercing culture (and its corresponding price ranges) though. :\\

thanks for the information! 😄 it's really helpful. i'll be going down to b*dazzle to pierce my ears today, as a matter of fact. -crosses fingers- i hope it all goes well..!

There are cheap one around; a shop in Queenway Shopping Center only charge $5. I also paid close to $120 for my DD; just to be on the safe side since that shop I went was "professional" lah.

Oh! I think I've been \"ko-tok\" - the sales lady told me we can only choose from the 14K / 18K gold range, and the starting price is already $128!! There are the lower range, but she insisted that for piercing, can't choose those. This is at Wisma B*Dazzle.

I sent my dd to bdazzle for her virgin ears. Was recommended for nickel-free earrings. After considering that my dd had sensitive skin, I opt for this option. I even chose the higher range with diamonds…unfortunately, even with the nickel-free earrings, her skin is still sensitive… took her 4 to 5 months then completely heal. In fact, I went bi-weekly to the shop for them to check on her ears.

Lately, I recommend a friend to go Goldheart as I felt that its not worth to spend that kind of money. Her dd also have sensitive skin but is coping fine with the ear piercing. She spent only <$70 for the earrings only.

oh, i see. thanks for the information, everybody! 😄

i got my ears done today (well, yesterday, now...) at the outlet in 313@somerset, and i must say, it was a very painless experience. the staff sprayed some sort of solution that utterly numbed my ears, so i didn't feel a thing, hooray! ^___^ *is scared of pain*

i chose the cheapest stud at $41, and while they assured me the piercing was free-of-charge, i had to buy two bottles of alcohol solution at a very exorbitant price of $18.80. )))): but i guess they have to earn the money somewhere... :\\

i guess all that's left now is to hope the recovery process goes as smoothly as the actual piercing job itself. again, many thanks for all the helpful replies! 😄 i love you all. ^___^

Hi, is there any contactless, painless method of piercing a child's ears? There are lots of high-tech stuff these days, someone must have invented something by now! I hope :?:

Have not heard of contactless & painless method of piercing ears. Only heard of painless method of wearing earrings - use clips or magnetic earring
