I injured my ankle a few years ago, and lately it has been getting stiff and painful when I walk for long periods. Could this be post-traumatic arthritis? For those who have experienced this after an ankle injury, what treatments helped with the pain and movement?

@evearch_chu , I had the same issue previously and did this which have help me quite a bit - Supportive, shock-absorbing shoes or insoles can improve stability and reduce pain.
Reduce long walks temporarily, avoid running, squatting, uneven ground, and heavy carrying; use lower-impact exercise such as cycling or swimming to stay active.

I had similar ankle pain after an old injury, and it was diagnosed as post-traumatic arthritis due to joint damage. I consulted Dr Kevin Koo at BJC Bone & Joint Centre when the pain began affecting my daily activities. Surgery was discussed as a way to address the damaged joint. If you’re experiencing similar symptoms, a consultation with a Top Orthopaedic Surgeon in Singapore help determine whether you have this condition.
