Of course, I am members now, but the chairman told me only can issue the letter for the member who have serviced more than two years, means, I must service more than 4 years(two years of obsever and two years of member) if i want to got the letter, currently I only have 1 month, very disappoint, why didn't tell me when I join RC?

this is not true, I thot I read it somewhere that you just need to be 1 year member if you wanted the letter? but I do know the deadline for PA requested is by early June.

I think for Grassroot Leader is 1 year, but may be different for member?

Oh, okay...meaning you applied to migrate immediately after the Chairman didn't give you a recommendation letter for Phase 2B?

That's incorrect. To be eligible for the letter that would entitle you to register your child in Phase 2B, the only qualification is that you need to have served as an \"Executive Member (EM)\" for at least one year. The thing is, you need to serve as an \"Observer\" for a period of time before you get \"promoted\" to become an EM. Some have been promoted within three months, others took longer, but the advice so far has been that you need to be fairly active AND not miss any meetings before you will be promoted to EM.

Sorry to hear that you volunteered but ultimately did not get the letter. Hope you have some backup plan apart from migrating to Australia.
