If S&P states that expected date of delivery of vacant possession of the Property is no later than 31 January 2012 and expected date of completion of the sale and purchase of the Property is no later than 31 January 2015, is it ok to use this property to apply for 2011 intake?

Should be OK, technically you should be staying at your new place before your kid starts primary 2.

J: For Registration using address of yet-to-be completed property
An original Sales and Purchase document is required if the address of a yet-to-be completed property is used for registration. A copy of this document is to be retained by the school. Parents using the yet-to-be completed property address for registering their child in a school of choice must move into the new property within two years of the child’s entry into Primary One. For this purpose, the date of commitment by the developer in T.O.P (Temporary Occupation Permit) must not be later than 31 Dec 2012.

If you don't live anywhere within 1km, then you pretty much have no chance at all. Even if you are within 1km, there is also a chance you don't get selected during the balloting.

Have you considered RGPS for your daughter instead?

I do stay within the 1km. Always get blocked by the cars during the 12 to 2 pm..

We hope to get into NYPS since my in laws have been staying here more den 10yrs.. Taking in consideration for her brother, we are hoping that we can avoid this fretting when it comes to his turn in 4 yrs time..

It seems to me there will be fewer vacancies after phase 2a2 at NYPS…lower than previous years…(except for dragon babies)…gosh…may need to ballot at phase 2b

A friend is staying there. She has registered daughter under Phase 2A1 in CHIJ TP but thinking whether to pull out and put daughter in RGPS.

Nanyang has 161 places for Phase 2A2. Is it hard to tell at this point what the take up rate is ? Roughly number of vacancies for Phase 2C ?

if i don't remember wrongly, phase 2C vacancies ranged from 25 to 55 (depending on each year's baby birth rate as well as siblings at phase 1) : meaning phase 2B & 2C ranged from 50 to 110.....hence the take up rate at phase 2A is roughly 60
