yeah....i agree that moving house is never easy. Luckily for me, since I'm an upgrader, I got lucky when the property I bought was still quite cheap. But I had to rent a private apartment to stay for 6 months before I found the new place, in order to get my son in Rosyth. Moving house within 6 months was really a tough chore!!!singmathstutor/spikey,
It's not an easy move to sell and move. Need to have $$$ to do so.
Resale flats prices still surging and houses in BT are never cheap.
But for the sake of our kids, parents like us will do anything to get them into choice schools. -

In case your cheek really swells up, you can always wear a N95 mask and pretend that you have caught a bad cold.:offtopic: but still have to say this.
Will register gal this Thursday under 2A2. Just had my wisdom tooth removed today and hopefully cheek won't look so swelled up by Thurs morn, in case I meet some ex-classmates. Super vain

LKVM,
This is not being kiasu, but being VAIN.
singmathstutor,
Moving house is never easy, in fact it's a torture to pack and unpack. Worse part is to do this twice.
But you are really fortunate and a wonderful parent to make this move.
When I had to get tooth removed this afternoon, I was thinking if swelling on the cheek will subside by Thursday morn...long time didn't step into former school and if meet ex-classmates, so must look good right ? Woman must always maintain and age gracefully. HaHaHa.

Just don't go into the bank or all the hidden cameras will instantly be pointing at you

markfch,
I won’t wear a N95 mask to register my daughter…will get a lot of unwanted attention. Will just ask hubby to handle everything.
Dentist gave me 3 days MC. So excused from coaching the kids for the next 3 days…no need to give them 听写, get hubby to do it. -

Janet , I just went for an extract last month , the swell came the next day and last 3-4 days for me. You can try asking your surgeon to give you a anti-swell jab which mine told me it's normally given to celebreties. ( foc he says) . I didn't see the need , I didn't expect the swell to be so lumpy but stayed at home anyway :lol:LKVM,
