2010 P1 Registration Exercise for 2011 In-Take

qms:
May I kpo to ask what's the difference between CHS and other schools under this phase?tankee:
Phase 2A2 is sure to get in, no need luck.

I think parents applying to CHS need the luck, nevertheless.

CHS reduced their intake this year, and their take up rate so far is very high.
Still I think 2A2 should continue to be safe. But balloting would be necessary for 2B & 2C. -

OIC. Thanks for feeding my kpo mind, tankee.CHS reduced their intake this year, and their take up rate so far is very high.
Still I think 2A2 should continue to be safe. But balloting would be necessary for 2B & 2C.
I also doubt the intake at 2A2 will ever be subjected to balloting. In that case, lots of luck required for 2B and 2C.
So if any one of you reading this, GOOD LUCK!! :xedfingers: :xedfingers: :xedfingers: -
I think the intake for CHS is the same as last year...210 max. The intake for Phase 1 and Phase 2A1 was surprisingly overwhelming, leaving a mere 62 vacancies. So all of us may subject to balloting if the application for these 2 days exceed 62! :xedfingers:
BTW, ClubNako posted under Bishan schools earlier that there was a high turnout for registration for CHS today!

Thanks LKVM !
Although everyone says Phase 2A2 is very safe, nothing beats the actual confirmation from the admin staff earlier. You know how it is....must submit and see and hear with own eyes & ears that all documentation proofs are in order. :lovesite:

Supposedly there are 2 days for parents to register, may I enquire, does it make a difference if I register on the day itself or the next day afternoon?
I will be registering my DS next week under phase 2B and I was thinking of taking that friday off instead of Thursday.
Any advice? -
hi angel
there is no difference, except for phase 3 which is first-come-first-serve.
going late for phases 2B & 2C have the added advantage of knowing the status of application, and whether balloting will occur, and if so for what distance. -

Wow! I didn't know phase 2C is first come first serve. No wonder I thought I ever read from papers that parents actually queued the night before... -

2C is NOT 1st come 1st serve
