hi siti, sorry for late reply. so far din bring the kids to anywhere leh... except libraries after their enrichment lesson. This sat they have no enrichment lesson, intend to bring them to sentosa but hubby not free. Now sentosa got free 2 kids with 2 adults for various destinations.

It's really quite worth while going to Sentosa this week. Lots of discounts off the attractions. I had a whirlwind expedition of Sentosa over the weekend and spent less than $300 including a 1 night stay in a hotel there (with breakfast and lunch), the Songs of the Sea, Luge and Sky ride, and Underwaterworld with dolphin show.

yes. it's a worthwhile trip if you are prepared to spend some money. People like me who go to Sentosa and don't wanna spend much, can only build sandcastles. Quite a disappointment, as I missed the days when we can cycle easily around the island without running into any construction sites, eat A&W and take the monorail around

I also didn’t manage to bring the kids anywhere far too except shopping at Northpoint and playing at the nearly opened "water park" at SSC.

The kids had fun though. They had the water activity then followed by the painting session.

School started for a week plus. So how's everything? My goodness, the kids seems to have lots of homework given. The difference between P3 and 4 is really wide. :?

Homework is really alot. This year her teacher seems to be moving very fast in maths and he is always telling the class that they need to rush. Actually, I don’t mind alot of homework, as long as the teacher must teach and make sure the kids understand first. But my girl is in a weak class, maybe that’s why they are always behind time and always "rushing" like chasing trains.

                  How is your son coping?

There is also a parent talk for us tomorrow. The principal talking to all parents? I thought it's only for P4 parents. :?

But I like this new principal. He is making alot of changes to the school and the PSLE results is getting better, discipline also. Used to see pupils around my block after school, but now not really.

probably for P4 is the parents’ talk, guess could be advising the parents about the banding. For us is 1-to-1 meeting with the form and subject teachers. We have choices of time slots and then given a time to go for the meeting. Ya this principal together with the VP had make improvement to the school.

I guess so. My girl came back today and said that it's only a talk, but her teacher will be around. Ya, this new P and VP joined the school in 2006 and since they joined, the school has been doing well in PSLE.

Last year I went for the graduation ceremony with my sister as her son was in P6. Wow, their PSLE results was good and from what i heard so far from parents, the school is doing better than the other schools in sembawang area. Hopefully this can continue and when my girl sits for her PSLE, she will do well too.
