All About Choosing Piano Schools And Teachers

No prob jce. Totally agree with u.Titank (and sorry, pianojazzy, for putting my foot in)
In terms of qualification, the master degree stands higher than the DipABRSM (and the charges work out cheaper). However, qualification is one thing, teaching is another. The latter comes with experience, character and creativity. Have a chat (or even meet up) with both teachers, sound out their views, see how they communicate, then make your decision from there.
Titank, there are reasons y some teachers charge cheaper then others. Do find out why before u decide

Yes I'm also looking around for Piano Teacher. Wow that is about $60/hour for beginner rate.
Cheapest I had found is $40/hour & most expensive is $200/hr. I guess maybe the piano teacher you found could must high qualifications & experiences in teaching piano. -

Hi titank
she is our neighbour - 1 level below us and carpartner to send our children to school. We are not sure about her qualifications, only that she owns a grand piano in her house.. That all. She is giving one to one lesson and have been teaching for many years. We will try her out 1st and see how it goes... -

It seem she charge quite ex where it is about $60/hour. Maybe you try negotiate to $50/hour where 4 lessons at $100.
I do come across some charging like $100 4 lessons at 45 minutes but they are not near our area.
