Can anyone tell me why Lakeside and West Grove so popular nowadays? i felt that my chances to enroll for my kid into Rulang is totally zero and for West Grove chances also very slim… sigh… Does West Grove is also a good Academic school? no more time left to think for my selection already sigh…

We are also as clueless abt the this years registration numbers.. :? You are registering your child this year or next? Phase 2C?

Heard some parents in that area West Grove primary is quite strict to the pupils and getting your child to enroll into this school also need to ballot, Aiyo why every school need to ballot nowadays sigh…

There are certainly many schools which do not need to go through balloting.


Unfortunately, these are also the "not so popular" schools.

Err... I'm sorry to deliver you bad news... but if you are staying >2km away from Rulang and West Grove and registering at Phase 2C (I don't think u mean 2C2??), I'm afraid you won't even have a chance of balloting.

Maybe i'm a kiasu type but West Grove is also a Popular school in Jurong West area? i don't have much info of this school, if that so i rather choose other school in order to secure a place for my kid but also need to consider the traveling distance.
