ImMeeMee:
That's HORROR awrite! :!:went to register this morning with the letter from SHHK. History of the school has been that balloting was conducted for >2km for the last 3 years, so we thought it would be quite a well calculated risk as we are 1-2km.
imagine our horror when the school admin told us that the history of the school has been balloting required for 1-2km. :?
either she blur and not know the history well, or the history has not been accurate.
so now really crossing fingers for the results come 5pm. :xedfingers:
:scared:
:xedfingers: for you... :hugs:
The wait till 5pm today must be
the longest wait in your entire life..
I really hope things will turn out well for you.
Update us, okie?

Which school are you referring to? It is unlikely our balloting history is inaccurate because the information is taken from MOE's press releases.went to register this morning with the letter from SHHK. Daddy
Have have....how to identify??
Hahaha! PV also got different ranks one ah??? CMI..... :celebrate:buds:
Nope. The PVs attending to this important registration event are
the lao jiaos not the greenhorns who are clocking hours.
Those clocking hours must really work for it... still hafta choose
whether wanna be lollipop man... or stunt from one excursion
bus in the morning to another excursion bus in the afternoon..
(etc).
Those who are cool and do their tasks smoothly are the senior ones. Perhaps, you'll see them chatting up with some of the staff, admin personnel or among themselves more often than seeing them do their jobs.

I am referring to CF. Am also puzzled as I have understood that the source of information is from MOE and therefore should be accurate. plus if it has been inaccurate it would have been reflected by other parents long time ago.

in any case, will tell the verdict tonight. -

It really depends on the school. Some schools will display these info prominently on notice board, while some you will have to do some prodding to get it out of their mouth.Hi BigDevil,
Thanks for your answers! Do you know if on the registration day just before u register, will you know how many have register as to determine a chance if my child can get a slot? I m actually registering for next year, but want to find out more. If I can, I will go to another school.
Are you looking at NYPS? -

Hi BigDevil,
Yes, I m looking at NYPS. Last few years there were no balloting in phase 2B. But this year, there is a need for those outside 2km. Look like I need to select alternate choices.
I was suprised by this year phase 2A2, there are so many applications & successfully got in, when I thought 2004 birthrates are lower than 2003.
Are your children in NYPS?BigDevil:
