Yes, I think you remember correctly, for 2nd child already S$3000 bonus before 9Aug2004, same as that for 1st child born after 9Aug04, both get credited to bank acc. 4 times with $750 each in a interval of 6 months.

same same... mine was quite near too...

but I was looking at the overall grand total number of registrations as at Phase 2A2 versus Phase 2A2 in 2009, the number has infact dropped. So this actually coincides with the drop in birth rate for 2004.

If ultimately there are more registrations for 2010, then we can say there are more non-Singaporeans and PRs this yr.

Yes, I m looking at NYPS. Last few years there were no balloting in phase 2B. But this year, there is a need for those outside 2km. Look like I need to select alternate choices. I was suprised by this year phase 2A2, there are so many applications & successfully got in, when I thought 2004 birthrates are lower than 2003.

Even though the birth rate is lower, popular school is still...well...popular. So the demand for them doesn't really get affected by the lower birth rate. Only the not-so-popular school will see a dip in the registration figures.

What is your distance from NYPS, and what phase do you qualify? Which year is the registration?

My DD is indeed in NYPS P1 this year...she got in thru p2A2.

Thanks for your explanation. We are staying outside 2km of NYPS, under phase 2B for next year registration for 2012 intake, if successfully.
I just heard from my friend that there are 40 PV for NYPS this year intake, this exclude grassroot & clan affiliation. Is there any clan affiliated to NYPS?

I went down this morning about 8+am. 3rd one to go to the school. It was all quiet…so quiet until there wasn’t any staff manning the registration counter - had to go to general office to get things done.

No jitters, just filled in the form and was done in 5 min. Went to tuckshop to have breakfast…wah piang…nowadays the food there so ex. If I were to put DS1 in BASC, I think everyday got to give him $5. :!:
