I heard before that there was once a school which had registered the exact number of vacancies, then in came a mother trying to register. All the other parents who had already registered gave her such a look :x as if to eat her alive that the mother left crying, without registering!

Wow...that was mean. I ever saw one case where the no. of registered was just 1 more than its vacancies, the school decided to take all in and drop 1 vacancy in phase 2C.

that was my year when i registered my son in p2b. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sorry I need to hijack this thread away from potential P1 parents of PH.

I need to know from parents of P2 kids who are in the Science Expression program on Thursday - do your kids complain itโ€™s boring? that it is confusing? or do they find it interesting?

I understand that the kids on the Sci expression program on Tuesday find it more fun and interesting, but not so from the Thursday class.

Hope to get some feedback from you all to have a more balanced view of this program. thanks!

I'm not really sure if it's boring but I think this week is the last stretch for them. They're practicing on both Tue n Thu until performance on Fri.

My son is on Tue and he enjoys it fair enough but not really sooo in love with it. Almost like moving with the motion since it's school activity. Do you think they carry different materials for it? I would assume it's the same group of people coming to teach both Tue n Thu.

Back from super long absence

Yes, super long absence...haha! My girl looks forward to the class every Tue morning. She's pretty excited about the performance this Friday. She did her poster on the Haiku and brought to school today. In my opinion, though the course has come to an end, nothing much has changed in her. She is still a serious, self-conscious girl, not a drama queen. She will act out her role rather professionally but behind the scene, she's back to her usual self. I guess it's personality. It's good exposure though and she had learnt quite a bit on the science concepts that were integrated.

sharon1234, I am just sharing, hope you are able to elicit more response from parents whose kids go for Thur class.

                        HI E3,

I bought that book with English phrases to help with compo writing...wow, the English used is really cheam !!! Anyway, I'm getting my son to start practicing for his SA2 compo...this way, hopefully ๐Ÿ™ his Paper I will get better grades. Will alternate between situational writing as well as pic ones. Oh yes, my son still remembers what I told him about your daughter's PERFECT 10 score.
