If you have offers from both RI and HCI, which will you choose ? Please justify the choice made.

It depends on what kind of culture you want your child to be expose to. My impression of both school is that RI is more of the \"potato\" culture and HCI has more of the \"chinese\" heritage. Both are good schools and it sure is a difficult decision to make but a good problem to have.

I am \"potato\", so will have nudge my child to RI if he is given that \"difficult\" choice.

This type of wicked qn I liked. Cos I hope that by talking about it, somehow will increase the probability this becomes my problem in future :drool: It's like asking between Watten Estate & Coronation Rd, which bungalow you want to buy? :please:

My choice? I will always go for RI. There's something about the prestige of RI that is compelling. When someone tells me that his/her kid is in RI, I straight away feel utmost respect them. Cos 虎父无犬子

But HCI people don't :clubmyself: me ok. I'll break an arm for ds to go HCI too.

Just curious how many will choose a sec school because it is ‘prestige’ even though you do not like the culture or is in a distance away?
