[Toa Payoh] Primary Schools

Namie:
Namie -- i was no. 40 - so YES - the 40s were not called much! My dad was with me and he also commented that how come so little 40?!!
Who's no. 42, and why is everyone rooting for them? My husband said the 40s were very unlucky. Very few being called. Ours was 44, one of the very last few. I was at 2nd column wearing black and white checks.
Regarding 42 -- what happened was the twins were behind me and next to me was no. 52. So after the twins, 52 and me got in, the other person around us who were not in was 42 (it was a mum, dad and kid) and so i also dunno how come - but we ended up rooting for them to be in also!! -

It also means we can go fo holiday earlier than the rest of the cohort and hence may not be subjected to year-end additional holiday surcharge!!cherrygal:
BTW, does anyone know the definition of a \"full school\"? Why are some schools considered full school and some are not, even if their primary and secondary are in the same premises? For eg, MSH, CHS, CHIJ St Nicholas are full schools but not CHIJ Toa Payoh? Why?
A Full School operates with the same principal running both Primary and Secondary schools within the same compound. For MSHS their Term 4 school term is short, the boys have their end year school holidays earlier (almost 2 months holidays) due to the Secondary \"O\" level exam.

Hi cherrygal,Hi BigFoot
Were you in the second row, corner seat with your hubby? I heard someone heave a huge sigh of relief and started to almost shed tears of joy...
I almost cried too upon hearing my son's name.
Yeah we were at the second row. But I am the hubby and the lady who heave a huge sigh of relief is my DW.
As I mentioned earlier, we were losing hope as it enter the last 7. So can u imagine when our son's name was finally drawn. I even tell my DW to buy some sweets for the boy who picked out my son's name. lolz... -

I was from CHIJ Primary and got affiliation into secondary thereafter, so even though the principals are different, I think the affiliation is still there, donβt worry. I couldnt find my P6 report book now though, so I was thinking to join the alumni in preparation for ddβs P1 registration down the road.

You can use PSLE certificate too and if you lost that too, you can also go to MOE to get a certified copy.

Hi mum2jj,
Like what tankee mentioned, use the PSLE cert. When will you be registering your daughter for P1 ?
