SAHP with big certs is lagi better...It means that not only you have calibre but also lots of free time to do PV duties.... ๐Ÿ‘…

Not sure about that..... it might imply that the child will need to be on the needy student list when they join the school :?

A friend of mine quite bohchap, no PV nothing. I advised her to go for 2nd tier popular schools within her vicinity. Becos if she fail at 2C balloting for 1st tier popular schools, she may have to deal with the same disappointment come 2C Supplementary in 2nd or even 3rd tier pop schools.

Hmmm....sounds very familiar. Are you talking about me? ๐Ÿ˜‰ :siam:

no lah, don't think she frequents ksp in the first place.

Just a strategy for school registration...no point chasing the crowds in hot hot primary schools.

What kind of backup plan are you referring to :? Can enlighten me?
          tankee:

I would too, if I have a sound backup plan for Phase 2C supplementary.

So scary a friend of mine got ballot out from phase 2B within 1km...still wanna try the same school on phase 2C...I don't think I wanna try my luck again if I am the parent..cos in phase 2C competition will be even worse...open to public, everybody.. anyone, please correct me if I am wrong. I did not share what I have thought to my friend yet.

Yes, I know what you mean. Phase 2C is open to ALL. The chances are even slimmer but maybe your friend could have better luck this time.
Staying within 1km and yet balloted out, that's really scary at PHASE 2B.

The problem is is it worth it to take the chance cos phase 2c supp is those schools that have vacancies leftover.. the remainder schools which nobody would consider in the first place..

:congrats: to all who succeeded in the balloting.

For those who did not get balloted in and those registering at Phase 2C, wishing you all the best.

Agree with meeyah, if yr friend still go for phase 2c, she would have given up a chance in another sch. Unless her 2nd choice sch is not a popular sch & she's sure it'll have leftover places in phase 2c supp lor.

                    Hi Parents registering for 2C,

Hope you have some idea what schools youโ€™re going to register your kids next week. With stats this year somewhat freaky, please remember that if you are staying 1-2km or more than that, some schools are out of reach. Have a sound backup plan in place or youโ€™ll be left very disappointed.

                    All the best to you.

Ballotings for phase 2B were held on the result release day.

Thus, for phase 2C, it could be Friday the 13th.
