IP having talk in Pri School

My friend told me that her daughter (P6) last year (Top Sch) the sch expect a boy to score 270+ because he is alway top in standard since P1. But when the result released he only score 240++.

This is not only happening in top school. It is more common in neighbourhood schools too.

Just hope everyone P6 students every year do their best and we parent or teacher can give them less pressure.

Last year when my girl in P6, only the top 4 classes were being called to attend talks from IP sec schools conducted in their school. I think the school have some past historical results that make them do so. Based on last year results, true enough, those who could make it to the IP schools are those from the top 4 classes. Actually I also feel that all the classes should attend, not only the top 4.

Don’t these schools realise thaty DSA is not just for the academically inclined? There are those who do sports/music who may not be in the best 4 classes. Anyway, hope their parents are wise enough to know the opportunity is there whether they attend the talk or not.

SOTA came to my girl's school recently and I think the whole level went for the talk conducted in the hall.


Alas, when the speaker asked who wanted the form, my girl didn't go out to get it. I asked why and she said there were too many students blocking and she found it cumbersome to go through all the \"obstacles\" just to get the form from speaker in front.
